KikMaat | Long-term labor participation trajectory

This is a program for those following the Z-route or B1 route. The goal is to help you find paid employment. KikMaat helps you if you can't work immediately, but can within two years.

1. What is it?

KikMaat helps you find work. You can participate in:

  • workshops for independence
  • work and learning places
  • language assistance and personal guidance in various areas

2. What is the goal?

The goal is to get started in a paid job.

3. How long does it take?

The course lasts a maximum of 2 years.

4. For who is it?

This is a program for those following the Z-route or B1 route. KikMaat helps you if you can't work immediately, but can within two years.

5. What does the contact look like?

Together with your KikMaat supervisor, you'll find a place to gain work experience. A place that suits your interests and abilities. A language buddy will help you find this place, allowing you to practice your Dutch.

These are the options available at KikMaat itself:

  • employee Landscaping
  • Cleaning employee
  • Production employee
  • Postal Delivery Employee
  • Passenger Transport Employee
  • Bicycle management employee
  • Workplaces at La Poubelle (logistics, shop, sorting, bicycle workshop)

If you already speak Dutch a little better, you can also do an internship at a location outside KiKmaat.
