
Refugee Team | Social Participation
The Refugee Team helps you participate in society. We call this participation. For example, you'll be assisted in finding and doing volunteer work. If you follow the Z-route, you're required to participate for 800 hours. This program is for people who are unable to find paid work during the integration period.

The Refugee Team helps you participate in society. We call this participation. For example, you'll be assisted in finding and doing volunteer work. If you follow the Z-route, you're required to participate for 800 hours. This program is for people who are unable to find paid work during the integration period.

What is the goal?
The aim is to participate in society, for example through volunteer work.

How long does it take?
The program lasts one and a half years. As a Z-route participant, you will complete 650 participation hours. This (along with the participation hours from the broad intake and orientation phase) meets the legal requirements.

For who is it?
You can participate in the program if you are taking the Z route, but also if you are a B1 candidate.
5.
What does the contact look like?
Your client coordinator will register you with the Refugee Team. You'll have an on-site introductory meeting. You'll participate at least 8 hours a week on-site. You'll be assigned a coach from the Refugee Team. Together, you'll develop an action plan, which you'll also use with other organizations.
