The obligation to provide information

You receive social assistance benefits. It is important that you let us know if anything changes in your personal situation. For example, if you start working, receive money from family or move in together. We call this the obligation to provide information.

Why do I have to report changes?

We need this information to determine your entitlement to your benefit. In addition, a change may also affect how much benefit you receive (more or less).

What changes do I report?

Please inform your contact person of any changes in your personal and/or financial situation. Even if you have doubts about whether the change is important. Together we will check whether it concerns information that is important for your benefit. Below are a few examples:

  • You go to work.
  • You are moving or living together.
  • Your child is leaving home.
  • You have received an inheritance or a gift.
  • You start or stop (volunteer) work.
