First step to more contact with others and volunteering
Menss organizations help you to take the first steps towards a more active life. You can do (volunteer) work and participate in fun activities. That's how you get to know new people. This also helps you to feel better about yourself.
1.
What is it?
Everyone likes to belong and participate in society. Sometimes this is not possible due to circumstances. If you want to do something (again) or meet other people, Menss can do something for you. Menss helps you on your way to a better life, in which you belong and participate in the way that suits you. Participate in the things you love, gain confidence and discover what suits you. Those are our main goals. We are working on that together. Which of us will help you with this depends on the question you currently have.
We look at what best suits your wishes and possibilities. Before you start at one of the organizations, you first have an introductory meeting. Then you make agreements about which activities you will participate in and what guidance you will receive.
Participation and Social Increase (Menss) is the name of a collaboration between a number of organizations that you may know:

What is the goal?
You agree on a goal with your client director. Examples of goals are:
- Have something to do during the week
- Volunteering
- To do a study
- Expanding your social network
3.
How long does it take?
A process takes approximately 1 year. You agree with your client director and your Menss supervisor how many hours you are active.
4.
For who is it?
If you want to take steps in your personal life and want more contact with others. Then Menss is for you. You might like to participate in something, volunteer or meet more people, but you find it difficult to arrange this yourself.
5.
What does the contact look like?
Menss consists of many different organizations. As a result, there is a lot of offer. An example of what your day might look like:
In the morning you follow a training. In the afternoon you will have a conversation with your supervisor about your development. On the other days, you participate in an activity that suits you in the afternoon. Doing something with your hands, working in the garden, cooking together, something creative, etc. There is really a lot possible!
