Willem II Involved has a strong belief in the talents of young people and strives to ensure that no one is on the reserve bench. The Fit II Work project focuses on young people up to the age of thirty who, for whatever reason, experience a distance to the labor market. These young people participate twice a week in meetings with a focus on sports where they are helped to reach the next step in their career. This could be a job, but also an education.
All young people are supervised by USG Restart. The aim of the meetings is to improve work skills. They will start drawing up a CV and learn how to conduct a job interview. Goals are also set and it is determined where the young people want to be at the end of the project.
The themes of respect, fun and collaboration are central during the training. The connection to the professional field is also made on the football field.
