Heb je interesse?
WHO IS IT INTENDED FOR?
  • Candidates with a target group indication

Are you someone who enjoys working with data and is adept at analysis? Do you enjoy precision, can you work independently, and are you eager to contribute to the investigation of criminal offenses? Then we're looking for you as a confidentiality officer!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You'll examine data from devices such as phones and laptops seized during police investigations. You'll search for conversations or messages with confidential informants, such as lawyers or doctors, and ensure this information doesn't reach the investigation team. You'll collaborate with digital specialists and consult with the examining magistrate. At the end of the investigation, you'll write a report on your work and findings.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

Your day begins at your desk at the Interception Desk. Using digital systems and databases, you'll review data carriers and filter out confidential communications, such as emails and chats. Occasionally, you'll consult with colleagues from digital investigations or the examining magistrate. You'll work meticulously, document everything thoroughly, and draft a report. If a random sample is required, you'll collaborate with the judge and a lawyer. The work demands concentration and care, but you'll never work alone: you'll work as part of a dedicated, supportive team.

  • Hours: Minimum 24 and 36 hours per week (working days and times in consultation).
  • Location: Den Bosch – Beverspijken. Bus stop right outside, ample parking, wheelchair-accessible building.
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
  • Minimum MBO-3 work and thinking level
  • Digital skills and quickly learning new systems
  • Good command of the Dutch language
  • Willingness to obtain a BOA diploma
WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?
  • Salary between €2,616 and €4,204 gross per month (for 36 hours)
  • A personal choice budget of 17,86% + € 377 net per year
  • Pension plan and paid parental leave
  • Temporary appointment for up to 3 years
  • Support and career opportunities within the police organization
  • Accessible building with facilities for people with disabilities
