WHO IS IT INTENDED FOR?
- Candidates with a target group indication
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You work for the Central Fireworks Investigation Team (COV) in Ulicoten. You support the process surrounding the delivery, storage, investigation, and destruction of illegal fireworks. Your duties include:
- Receiving and checking requests for incoming shipments of illegal fireworks.
- Check that all data has been entered completely and logically.
- Forwarding research questions to colleagues who investigate the fireworks.
- Processing of reports after completion of the investigation.
- Maintain contact with colleagues in the country and with the Movable Property Department.
- Contribute to good prioritization, especially during busy periods.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?
You start your day by opening your mailbox and the system where all requests are received. You review the information and, together with colleagues, determine which cases need to be addressed first. You then process the requests and forward the research questions to the appropriate colleagues.
Later that morning, fireworks arrive via a specialized transport company. You'll ensure the paperwork is correct and that the correct information reaches the examination room. Once the examination is complete, you'll receive a report, which you'll review and forward.
In the afternoon, you'll process notifications, check whether previous cases have been handled correctly, and discuss details with your colleagues or manager. During busy months, you'll process many more requests, but you'll do this together with the team. At the end of the day, you'll ensure everything is properly updated.
