Detective Assistant at the Police

WHO IS IT INTENDED FOR?

This job is specifically for people who are in the target group register. This means that you can only apply if you are registered in it. You will work at the police, at the digitalized crime team in Tilburg.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a detective assistant, you help with investigations into crimes. You do administrative work and support the team in tracking down suspects. Your help is especially important in the first phase of an investigation.

Your tasks are:
✔️ Enter data into police systems
✔️ Create reports and statements
✔️ Request research data from other organizations
✔️ Administrative handling of seized items
✔️ Minutes and administrative support during searches

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

You start the day by updating data in the police system. Then you make reports and get information from colleagues or other organizations. Sometimes you go along with searches and write down what happens. Your work is varied and you have to be able to switch quickly between different tasks.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

✔️ Mbo 3 work and thinking level
✔️ You speak and write good Dutch
✔️ You can collaborate and communicate well
✔️ A boa diploma (or you are willing to obtain this)

WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?

Salary between €2,520 and €3,895 per month (for 36 hours)
A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension (maximum 3 years)
A job of 27 to 36 hours per week (3 to 5 days)
A budget to choose additional employment conditions yourself
Pension plan and paid parental leave
