What is it?
This Kikmaat trajectory helps you to get the basics of your life back in order. In this way you can take steps again from a stable situation towards voluntary work, daytime activities, internships, paid work or training. You will be interviewed by your regular supervisor. With him or her you look at what you are going to do to achieve your goal.
See what suits you together
There are many possibilities at Kikmaat. For example, you can get started at a 'developing location'. This is a temporary workplace to gain work experience and get back into it a bit. These workplaces are available in all kinds of sectors. Together with your supervisor you look at what suits you. It is also possible that you are not yet ready to start at such a development location. For example, if things are not going well at home, you are not feeling well, you have money problems, etc. We will work on this first. Your supervisor will help you with this. There are several training courses that can help you with this. For example, a training in which you learn to stand up for yourself better, get more out of your talents or in which your health is central (body and mind).
And work together on a plan
Everything we do is in consultation with you and is tailor-made. At the start of the process, you and your supervisor will draw up an action plan. This action plan states what your goal is and exactly what you are going to do. For example, how many half-days you will work at your development location or which training sessions you will do. Every week you have a conversation of about an hour with your supervisor. There are also contact moments between these appointments. You can get started in the digital learning environment with the modules that you have selected together with your supervisor.

What is the goal?
Develop yourself and get moving (again). With this trajectory you are taking the first steps in this direction. Together we try to get the basics in your life back in order.
3.
How long does it take?
This process takes approximately six months. You have about one hour a week in contact with your supervisor and you are active between 8 and 24 hours a week at a development place or engaged in training. The hours at a development location can be built up continuously. This completely depends on your situation and possibilities.
4.
For who is it?
Sometimes your base isn't strong enough to get going again. This is possible, for example, because it has been a long time since you have worked. Maybe your motivation or confidence has been dented. Or because you have physical or mental complaints. Maybe your social network is very small or you have money problems. It is important that you have the basics in order to be able to take the next step in your life. Kikmaat will help you with this.

What does the contact look like?
Together to an appointment
You have an appointment with Debt Assistance this morning. You and your supervisor have prepared this appointment well. During this meeting you will make an overview of your debts and hear what solutions there are. Great, that gives more peace of mind. You may now dare to open the letterbox again without stress.
You take the first steps
This afternoon you will meet your supervisor at a development location at a thrift store. You are enthusiastic about this and you can start with a few half days a week. You start in the afternoon, because sometimes it is still difficult for you to get up early. This way you can get used to going somewhere, building up a rhythm and getting to know new people. Here you get the chance to experience what it is like to work in a busy place and to feel how it is with making contact. You can now also test how long you can stand before you have to sit for a while. You will hear immediately after the conversation that you can start next week. That's great news! Once you have returned home, you have received a message that you can start conversations with the psychologist. Glad you still have enough time for this next to your development location. In the evening you sit back on the couch with a smile. You feel fulfilled. The first steps have been taken.
