1.
What is it?
Would you like to work for pay, but are you not yet able to do so? For example, because you need guidance, have never worked or have not worked for a while? Then you can work temporarily at Kikmaat via a development job. You gain work experience where your development is paramount. You will work at various workplaces that match your development. The temporary development job is a stepping stone to a job with another employer. The duration of the development job depends on your development, but never longer than 3 years. When you are ready for the next step, you will be helped with applying.
2.
What is the goal?
With this work experience you increase your chances of finding a job with another employer.
3.
How long does it take?
You will work in a trial placement for the first two months. So you will keep your benefits. During the trial placement, you can get used to the work. You will receive guidance and we will see if the work suits you and your possibilities. Is everything going well? Then you will receive a (temporary) employment contract with an employment contract and salary. In the meantime, the employment broker will look for suitable work for you with another employer.
4.
For who is it?
You have not worked for a long time or you are registered in the target group register of the UWV. You then have a target group indication. You can also go to this place if you do not yet have a target group indication, but when you can probably get one. Through the target group registration you are entitled to guidance from your future employer(s).
5.
What does the contact look like?
You will be in contact with your client manager. They can register you for a temporary development job. After that, you will have a placement interview at KikMaat. If you are both happy with the idea of getting started and at which (temporary) workplace, you will agree on when you can start. You will receive guidance at the workplace and you will also keep in touch with the employment broker when you are ready for a new job with another employer.
