Do you have the ambition to follow an education in elderly care? And do you have a social assistance benefit? Register now for Welslagen: a trajectory in which we prepare you for a BBL training and work in elderly care.
For whom?
If you want to participate in this process, it is important that you meet the following conditions:
- You have an affinity with caring for and nursing the elderly.
- You speak, read and write Dutch.
- You can work weekends, evenings and holidays.
- You have a stable private situation and you feel metal good.
- If you have children, you have arranged childcare for them.
- You have a VOG.
- You have a social assistance benefit.
- You have the option to come to work in Tilburg outside the public transport regulations. You have a bicycle, car or moped with which you can do this.
What does the trajectory look like?
The process starts with an intensive selection period. Can you get through that? Then you start on April 1 with a 20-week internship. You also go to school (ROC) one day a week. During that period you keep your benefit. At the end of those 20 weeks, you check with the ROC and your internship to see if it went well. If so, you can start the BBL training helping plus or nurturing IG at the ROC from 1 September.
