WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- As a participant in the Social Software Street, you will carry out IT activities as part of a team and under the supervision of a coach. This mainly concerns the preparation/furnishing of devices for various companies. The devices are intended for employees so that they can perform their work
- In addition to the above activities, there are also opportunities to explore other aspects of IT, such as working in a Support department
- There is also the possibility to learn Scrum or a programming language through self-study
- Together with the coach you draw up a personal development plan and you may receive guidance in other areas of life
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?
The day starts with a reception on location in Raamsdonkveer. Then you discuss with the team leader the progress of the team so far, and the activities for this day are determined. Then you carry out the work you have taken on. All this under the guidance of the coach of the BEE-Ideas Foundation. You close the day with an attunement. On Friday, the day can be concluded with the traditional weekend drink after working hours from a renowned IT company (at 5 pm).
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
- You preferably have LBO / MBO working and thinking level. A degree is not required
- You have good motivation. This is the main criterion to participate
- You are able to travel to and from the location in Raamsdonksveer
- You get energy from working together and pursuing a goal
- You are careful
- You contribute to a good atmosphere, although this usually happens automatically
- You are reliable
- You have reasonable oral (and written) expression skills in the Dutch language
- You are available at least 24 hours a week
WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?
- The position is a work experience place and you perform the work while retaining benefits.
- The duration of the project depends on your employability, your knowledge and your ambition. You may be ready for the labor market after six months, while your colleague needs a little more time.
- If you have sufficient work experience, you can take the next step towards a paid job.
