Find out in practice what you can do

Do you want to know what you can handle in the field of (volunteer) work and what might be difficult for you? Then the Practice Advice Center (PAC) is for you. You get to work on the work floor and you have conversations with your coach. This way you find out what you are good at and what is complicated for you. These are mainly simple activities such as packing work. Production is not the priority. It is about experiencing how you are in a work situation.

1. What is it?

The Practice Advice Center (PAC) supports you in discovering your possibilities in the field of work or volunteer work. You get started on the work floor with simple tasks. You also have conversations with your coach. Together we look at your situation, your possibilities and obstacles. In a short time you learn a lot about yourself, what you want and what you can do.

2. What is the goal?

At the end of your period at the PAC, you and your client director will know which new step suits you.

3. How long does it take?

If your client director has registered you, you will receive an introductory meeting at the PAC. You then review with your coach how you will get started and make agreements about this. This involves a total of 6 weeks for 2 to 4 half-days (maximum 16 hours) per week. We take into account other obligations that you have.

4. For who is it?

For everyone who wants to find out what you want and can do in the field of work and participation. You do this by testing this in practice. Do you think the support of the PAC is for you? Please contact your client director of Work & Income.

5. What does the contact look like?

In the morning you arrive at the building of the Diamant group. The PAC has its own space there. You drink a cup of coffee with other participants and you discuss with the work leader what you are going to do that morning. They are simple tasks. Work is a means of finding out what you can and want. You learn more about yourself by working in practice. Do you take initiative? How do you work with colleagues? How is your work rhythm? Even more important than that: how are you as a person? In addition to experiencing in practice, you also have conversations with your coach to get answers to these questions.
