Health insurance

Do you have collective health insurance? Then you will receive the new healthcare policy from CZ or VGZ on November 13, 2023. On November 21 you will receive a letter with information from the municipality.

• If you don't want to change anything, do nothing.
• Would you like to change packages or request different insurance? Then you must arrange this before December 31, 2023.
• Are you not yet using the CZM? Then you can apply for insurance from November 14 via www.Gezondverzekerd.nl.

Collective health insurance conditions

• You are 18 years or older.
• You are a resident of the municipality of Tilburg.
• You (together with your partner) have a net income of up to 120% of the minimum.
• You (together) do not have more power than allowed.

Do you (together) have more power? Then you are not entitled to the collective health insurance of the municipality. By equity we mean the total amount in all your checking and savings accounts. The savings of minor children living at home also count. And, for example, the value of your car or caravan.

You can apply for collective health insurance with an income up to 120% of the assistance level.

Is your income (together) higher? Then you are not entitled to the collective health insurance of the municipality.

Add up all your income for a month (and that of your partner). Even if your partner does not want to use the collective health insurance.

Addition (net)

• Income from employment, benefits or student finance (without holiday allowance).
• Pension, partner alimony or maintenance contribution.
• Other income (e.g. interest or rental income)
• For married couples: the General Tax Credit Tax Credit (IB/PVV) for the least-earning partner
• As a single parent, do you receive a child-related budget? Then you count 290 per month as income. The amount above that is not counted as income.

Don't count

• Energy allowance or a contribution for energy costs from the national emergency fund
• Rent allowance, healthcare allowance or housing allowance
• Special wellfare
• Child support
• Child discount, combination discount and young disabled person discount
• Part of a Child Budget: €290 is counted as income, the amount above that is not.
• Personal budget with which you purchase care

Provide additional information with the Ockto app

Are you applying for insurance for the first time or are you changing your package? Then you may have to send additional information after your visit to Gezondverzekerd.nl. To share information quickly and securely, you can use the Download Ockto App (Login DigiD required, also your partner). You can also submit data by e-mail or post. Follow the instructions that you will receive by e-mail from Gezondverzekerd.nl.

Volunteers of the Form Help We are happy to help you with the application via Gezondverzekerd.nl. They cannot provide information or advice about the (contents of) the insurance. Please contact CZ or VGZ for this.

We will ensure that you receive an answer within 8 weeks. If you participate, you will receive an information package from CZ or VGZ. It states, among other things, how you pay the premium or declare health care costs. The municipality checks every year whether you are still entitled to the insurance.

To cancel, please contact the municipality. The health insurance will stop immediately if you move to another municipality or if CZ or VGZ cancels the insurance due to payment arrears.
