1. What is it?

Would you like to get paid to work, but can't do that yet? For example because you need guidance, have never worked or have not worked for a while? Then you can temporarily work at Kikmaat. You will receive guidance in the work and you can choose from a job such as:

  • Cleaning employee at the Cleaning Cooperative
  • Greenery maintenance employee at Groen Xtra
  • Postman at Post & Transport
  • Driver at Post & Transport
  • Employee at the bicycle shed

Visit Kikmaat's website >

2. What is the goal?

With this work experience you increase your chances of finding a job with another employer.

3. How long does it take?

You will work in a trial placement for the first three months. So you keep your benefit. During the trial placement you can get used to the work. You will receive guidance and we will check whether the work suits you and your possibilities. Is everything all right? Then you will receive a (temporary) employment contract with an employment contract and salary. In the meantime, the work broker will look for suitable work for you with another employer.

4. For who is it?

You have not worked for more than two years or you are registered in the target group register of the UWV. You then have a target group indication. You can also go to this place if you don't have a target group indication yet, but when you probably can get one.

5. What does the contact look like?

You are in contact with the real estate agent. This supports you in finding and keeping a job that suits you and your possibilities. The real estate agent can register you with Kikmaat. Then you have a job interview. If you comply and you both like to get started, you agree when that is. You work the number of hours stated on your contract. This is a maximum of 32 hours per week. You will receive guidance at the workplace and you will also keep in touch with the work broker.
